Camp Salerno / Forward Operating Base Salerno, is located just north of Khowst. The facility was initially occupied by the 3rd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, and they named it for the beach head that the 505th parachuted onto on September 14, 1943.
FOB Salerno is bigger than Orgun-E, but smaller than Kandahar.
Camp Salerno is in the province of Khost, close to the border with Pakistan, where hundreds of Taleban and al-Qaeda fighters are believed to be hiding

Our Church
Church is only 2 hours long here. And we get to wear what ever we want. PT(gym) shorts are the latest fashion.
That is way to funny... In the army that means Free Exchange, so everything in there is free, you dont have to pay for anything. As in contrast to a pX (post exchange) where you buy things. But I love your thinking Kevin...
I'm here at Salerno, today is my second day. I went by the church but didn't see anyone. I go to church at Calvary Chapel what would be the service for me?
